The Long Dark Description
Raphael van Leap, creative director and founder of Hinterland Studios, announced that the story of the game will take place in five episodes, the first two episodes of which will be experienced on the mentioned date. Leap said he was inspired to develop the game by the apocalyptic novel The Road by Cormac McCarthy.
The story of this book is about the relationship between father and son, and the new story of Wintermot is about two characters, Will Mackenzie and Astrid Greenwood, who are facing a geographical crisis in Canada.
In the first two episodes, players control the character Mackenzie. According to the developers, in the upcoming episodes, users will experience the game in the role of Greenwood. It is worth noting that each story part of this game will be five hours long.
